                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 895
                   CHEROKEE BOULEVARD, BEING ON THE SOUTHEAST LINE
                   OF CHEROKEE BOULEVARD SOUTHWEST OF BELL ROAD,
                   FROM C-1 HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL ZONE AND R-3
                   RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO M-2 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 895 Cherokee Boulevard,
                being on the southeast line of Cherokee Boulevard
                southwest of Bell Road.  Part of lot I, Chattanooga
                Investment Company and S.R. Reed Subdivision, not
                recorded; being the property described in deed book
                3100, page 952, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 126N-H-3.
               
         from R-3 Residential Zone to M-2 Light Industrial Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
